Investigations into reductive amination / Hydroaminomethylation on a miniplant scale

Course of Study: CIW
Description:
In the development of new chemical production processes, the miniplant technique forms the second step in process development. After the influence of process parameters such as pressure, temperature and catalyst system has been recorded in discontinuous laboratory tests, the first continuous investigations are carried out in the miniplant. The Miniplant represents the technical process with all circuits and recirculations on a smaller scale and provides valuable information about a process before it can be realized on an industrial scale. Standardized laboratory equipment (e.g. heat exchangers, pumps, reactors and membranes) are used to flexibly simulate technical processes.

Tasks
- Technical conversion of the Miniplant
- Testing of novel phase systems
- Carrying out reductive amination/hydroaminomethylation
- Use of renewable raw materials
